Thank you to President Biden. His passing of the torch to Kamala Harris has released enormous pent-up energy. The flood of delegates, volunteers, and funds to her campaign is unprecedented. How can Third Act SoCal seize the moment? Victories in four Southern California “swing district” races would go a long way toward taking back the House. So we have launched our Adopt a District Campaign to elect four strong candidates who need our support.
The stakes have never been higher. Far-right Supreme Court decisions have stripped away nearly 50 years of abortion rights, crippled the executive branch’s ability to do good in the areas of health, safety, finance, and the environment, and granted the president immunity to do evil.
Project 2025, MAGA’s authoritarian blueprint, calls for a national abortion ban, guts Social Security and Medicare, limits voting rights, ends separation of Church and State, abandons our global alliances, and disables any national response to the climate crisis.
Third Act’s motto, “No Time to Waste,” has never been more urgent. Election Day is fast approaching. We’re throwing everything we’ve got at winning the House to give President Harris a Congress that will work with her to deliver for America.
