NPR’s Outside/In Features Third Act Founder Bill McKibben

NH Public Radio covers Third Act founder Bill McKibben's evolution to activism.

This NH Public Radio Outside/In episode covers Bill McKibben’s evolution, from journalist/author issuing a 1989 early warning about the greenhouse effect of fossil fuel use, fast forwarding to his becoming the activist founder of 350.org and Third Act.  While there may be little surprising about familiar current times, we found a few great nuggets, particularly excerpts from Bill speaking on a Studs Turkle 1989 radio show, explaining the dark messages in his first book End of Nature.  You’ll get a feel in the introductory first couple of minutes, but if you chose to stick with it he proudly discusses Third Act.  It runs 30 minutes.
