We will build power together, escalating toward Sun Day 2025 – what Bill McKibben has called a “huge celebration of joyful possibility… dangerous to the MAGA agenda”. Sun Day is an opportunity for solidarity across diverse climate movements to celebrate the power of the sun and change our world.
Nancy LaPlaca, Climate and Energy Consultant for Third Act
Nancy LaPlaca, J.D., has been working on utility reform and clean energy policies for 20 years across the U.S. Nancy spent years fighting coal and carbon sequestration, fracked gas, pipelines and fossil fueled power plants as an intervener and expert witness. Nancy is dedicated to an electricity system that serves the public interest rather than corporate monopoly utilities. Nancy worked for two members of Congress, served as a Policy Advisor to a Public Utilities Commissioner, and has worked for many nonprofits promoting clean energy.
