Welcome! We are committed, over-60 members of your community determined to change the world for the better. Join us as we use our skills and life experience to stabilize the climate and democracy. Bring the kids, grandkids, and young friends too—all ages welcome!

We are welcoming fellow Nevadans in the Silver State to join the Third Act Nevada Working Group. As volunteers, we will contribute to protecting our climate and democracy through national campaigns and local events and activities.

What We Do

Climate change is on our doorstep

No one can forget the thick toxic smoke that poured over our beautiful Nevada landscape last summer and the raging wildfires that came perilously close to burning South Lake Tahoe. These very real threats remind us we are all connected and climate change is here. Third Act gives us a chance to turn our grief and fear into hope and collective action! This part of our page is coming soon….

Voting Rights Quilt Project

Third Act Nevada is working with the Voting Rights Quilt Project, a new national initiative that encourages people to express and act on voting rights issues through fabric. A photo of your quilt-banner (sewn, glued, painted, etc, all great!) can go up on our national site, votingrightsquiltproject.org. And locally, you can exhibit it at a rally, in your yard, and to the press!

Join the grand-person letter campaign

Where grandparents, grandkids, and grand-friends sit down together and brainstorm their thoughts on climate change, voting rights, racial justice. Write a letter together and send it to the press. Create on-line content together and share it! Check out this example of an op-ed co-authored by a grandmother and grandson.
