Happy New Year, Third Act SoCal!
Thanks to everyone who joined webinars, signed petitions, knocked on doors, and showed up in the streets last year: your passion, persistence, and commitment are what make this movement unstoppable. As we enter 2026, we want to remind you that alongside public-facing activism, divesting your personal finances is a critical component of climate action.
While less visible than other forms of advocacy, moving your money is a powerful and practical action that directly cuts off financial support to the industries driving the climate crisis. Where we bank, invest, and spend matters—and those choices add up.
That’s why we highlight Third Act SoCal members who’ve successfully switched to climate-safe banks, credit cards, and investment options. Their personal experiences offer real-world insight, and prove that when we act together—we can create collective, systemic impact. Their interviews are also highlighted on the Third Act National website, inspiring Third Act members all across the nation. And we’ve got more success stories coming in 2026!
One of those success stories could be YOURS. There has never been an easier or more important time to switch. If you’re willing to try, we are here to support you every step of the way.

The “Move Your Money” Workbook contains detailed instructions, resources, and checklists to guide you through every step of the switching process!
