Train to be a Class of 2022 Graduation Voter Registration Drive Ambassador

The Civics Center and Third Act are holding three volunteer workshops to train Third Actors to be ambassadors who will build connections with high schools and recruit educators and students to implement graduation-focused voter registration efforts. This is part of the Class of 2022 Voter Registration Challenge.

If you want to help high schoolers across the US,
but don’t have access to students, educators or districts:

Join a one-hour workshop with The Civics Center and Third Act and get trained to conduct phone outreach, making contact with school administrators, counselors, or teachers who can implement high school senior year-end activities, so we can help them organize voter registration drives. You will receive a list of 25 schools as a starting point. The Civics Center does the follow-up and sends the Ready to Vote Toolkit, Ready to Vote Pledge, and other materials to the school contacts you recruit.

  • May 12, 12 pm PT/3 pm ET. Register here (Limited to 100 participants)
  • May 18, 12 pm PT/3 pm ET. Register here (Limited to 100 participants)

If you want to go deeper and have personal / local student,
educator or school district contacts in mind:

Join a one-hour workshop for Third Actors and get trained to partner with your personal contacts—high school students (not necessarily graduating), educators, and local school district staff—plug them in to The Civics Center program for leading graduation voter registration drives. The Civics Center does the follow-up with available trainings 2x/week, and sends the Ready to Vote Toolkit, Ready to Vote Pledge, and other materials to the schools, educators, or students you recruit. Third Act will show you how to creatively share your voting stories to create a culture of civic engagement through graduation cards with online voter registration and tribute videos.

  • May 18, 4:30 pm PT/7:30 pm ET. Register here (Limited to 100 participants)
