- Join the Gray PAC Volunteer Team & Tell Us How You’d Like to Get Involved Join Gray PAC as we work to elect democracy and climate champions across the country. Third Act is launching its volunteer program this September, and we’d love your input as we shape it. Let us know which activities you might be interested in by checking all that apply.
- Write Postcards to Voters! Join Third Act to write postcards to help win key elections across the nation! We will write postcards to voters together to help safeguard our democracy, win elections, and build voter enthusiasm and turnout to elect progressives and climate champions. Together let’s win elections! Postcards are an effective way to increase voter turnout and win in tight races.

Hands Off Our Vote! The “Hands Off Our Vote” initiative is a national action plan designed to defend voting rights and hold power accountable by galvanizing communities around the message that voters, not leaders, decide the future. The strategy emphasizes building sustained defiance against threats to election integrity through several core imperatives: strengthening voter resolve, protecting communities from federal interference, normalizing early voting, and preparing for collective mass action to ensure all votes are counted. Take Action to Defend Our Democracy
“Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and help redeem the soul of America.” John Lewis (March 1, 2020).
Resources offering suggested actions:
- Mobilize network – A platform used by many organizations (like Indivisible) to list and promote events
- 5 Calls – A simple and effective way for U.S. constituents to make an impact. Pass this along to family and friends.
- TeslaTakedown – Action Network – A list of the many Tesla protests across the U.S. including Oregon
- Take action with Indivisible – various chapters include Indivisible Oregon (appears to be mostly Portland Metro) and COIN (Consolidated Oregon Indivisible Network – many Indivisible chapters across the state). Go here to find a chapter near you!
- Chop Wood, Carry Water – Each day, Jessica Craven shares actions and encouragement—about 10 minutes or so of your time. To receive your own daily list of things you can do to help save our democracy, click here.
- 50501 – Fifty Protests, Fifty States, One Movement. Provides a list of peaceful upcoming events
