Statewide Effort to Accelerate and Facilitate Transition to Renewables
Third Act New Mexico, Renewable Taos, 350 New Mexico and the Sierra Club and other organizations are partnering in a statewide effort dedicated to accelerating and facilitating a full transition to renewable energy and energy justice. Bill McKibben, founder of Third Act, has mobilized a nationwide movement, called Sun Day, to promote the shift from fossil fuels to clean, sustainable, safe and affordable solar energy. Our movement starts NOW, nationally mobilizes on Sun Day September 21 and continues after Sun Day until solar and renewables are no longer considered alternatives but power our earth – as it should be.
