As you may know, the Board will meet on Monday, August 17 at 10 AM in Lansing to determine the 100-word summary that will appear on the November ballot concerning the measure to get money out of Michigan politics.  The opposition to this measure is pushing to change the previously approved language, and we need to make sure the Board hears loudly and clearly from the hundreds of thousands of Michiganders who signed the petition to put this proposal on the ballot.

The goal is to pack the room on Monday, and we need every able person to support turnout.

For many voters, these 100 words may be the primary information they see about the proposal before casting their ballot. Last year, the Board unanimously approved the summary language that appeared on the petitions signed by more than 560,000 Michigan voters.

The meeting begins at 10:00 AM and could run as late as 4:00 PM, depending on the volume of public comment. Supporters should attend for whatever portion of the meeting they are able to make.

Everyone who registers will receive additional information from the campaign ahead of Monday.
