The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is the largest “public power authority” in the U.S. Why is this important? Because TVA is massive (10 million customers in 7 states), and has its Board of Directors appointed by the US President! Will TVA move forward with more methane gas power plants? Or more solar, wind, batteries, and energy efficiency? Clean energy is cheaper, less risky, and can be built quickly. We need TVA to embrace clean energy rather than continue down its current dirty fossil fueled path.
