Virtual postcard party to flip the House!

We’ve been invited! Join Third Act SoCal on Monday, August 17, from 3:30–5:30 pm for a fun and energizing Zoom action-hour postcard party as we continue building momentum for the November midterm election. Our special guest speaker will Randy Villegas, running for election to the U.S. House of Representatives to represent California’s 22nd Congressional district (San Joaquin Valley).

Please pre-register for the meeting here. Once you register (the sooner the better!), you’ll receive a confirmation email within a few days with the Zoom link and important info about ordering postcards and getting stamps. If you already have postcards at the ready, great! Stamps may take some hunting down.

Come solo or invite a few friends over to host your own postcard party while virtually joining volunteers from across California and beyond. Together, we’ll build momentum, strengthen our community, and make every postcard count.

Meeting agenda
3:30 pm: Meeting starts with general updates, followed by Randy’s comments and your questions.
4:00 pm: We’ll take a break, grab a snack, and independently write postcards.
5:00 pm: We’ll reunite to celebrate our progress and enjoy some lighthearted summer fun.

Bring your favorite pet or houseplant for a quick Zoom appearance during our “Pet or Plant Personality Cameo.” Give your furry friend a creative title (Ellie the Elections Protector?)! No pet? No problem! A houseplant, flower, succulent, or even a favorite garden vegetable is welcome. It’s all about sharing a smile while we build momentum together.

Whether you’re hosting friends around your kitchen table or writing postcards on your own, every postcard brings us one step closer to electing climate and democracy champions and flipping the House.
